I’m going to tell you how I completely eliminated my cable bill and I have 10 times more channels now than I did paying the cable company.
I created this website to save all of you the blood sweat tears & headaches I went through with the cable company. All my friends and family now watch their favorite movies & tv shows on the internet and their tv’s for FREE.
So that’s over $2,000 per month that the cable company is losing. Which doesn’t sound like much to a huge corporation but my friends & family have shared it with other people too and so on. So you can see how we can put the multi-million dollar cable companies out of business. They are ripping people like you & me off each and every month. Even in this bad economy they still raise their prices because they don’t care about hard-working middle class people.
Ok so I have to be honest with you here though, I used the same reputable cable company for 10 years and I never had a problem with them. Even when I had some issue they would always make it right. I always heard other people complaining about problems they had and were never fixed.
About 1 year ago I had moved and had to switch my account to the new address. No problem right? Wrong! My bill went up over $60 & when I asked they said there was all these installation charges & set up fees & next month would be the same as always. I wasn’t very happy since I hooked it up myself but anyways the next month the bill was wrong again. I had to call in to get credited for the overcharges. This went on month after month for a whole year.(Luckily that headache is over now)
I was totally fed up with it so I started looking into another cable company but they all cost as much as the first one. I couldn’t really afford to pay $95 a month for cable anyway. I looked into Direct Tv & other similar satellite tv companies but I had to sign a 2 year contract to get the “Special Prices”. I didn’t want to get into any contract because what if I didn’t like their service, I’m stuck with it. I went online to watch tv on the computer but found most of the websites were slow or you had to pay a membership fee. It was hard to watch anything and I was a bit frustrated at this point to say the least.
Now I have thousands of channels & don’t pay a dime because I was determined to find some kind of cheap digital tv on computer or satellite tv or whatever. I did better than that because I have over 4500 channels on my computer and my television and I pay nothing, nada, zero, zilch.
I can watch tv on my computer anywhere or on my television at home. It’s just software you can download onto your computer or laptop. It takes a couple minutes to install and that’s pretty much the extent of it. There is nothing else you need at all.
I want to be honest and tell you 1 thing I didn’t like but learned to live with. There is so many channels it takes a while to figure out which ones you like other than all the regular ones you get with cable. Also there is many channels from other countries which obviously are not in English so you can skip over all of them. Other than that I love it & tell everyone about it.
